Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC)
The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC)of the Jewish Community Association of Austin plans, coordinates, and implements a program of positive community relations both within the Jewish community and between the Jewish and the general Austin community through advocacy for Israel, opportunities for community involvement, and the annual commemoration of Yom HaShoah Holocaust Remembrance Day. JCRC operates events and programs in four areas:
• Holocaust Commemoration and Genocide Awareness
• Community and Civic Engagement
• Israel Advocacy
• Tikkun Austin Community Service Initiative
