B'nai Abraham Brenham Historic Synagogue
By any rational standard, B’nai Abraham should have shared the fate of countless other Jewish houses of worship in places where Jewish communities used to exist but no longer do: outright demolition or repurposing as a church, wedding hall, retail store, museum or theater. This plaque was palced on the site of the original synagogue (built in1893) in downtown Brenham.
