Austin Jewish Business Network | What’s Love Got to Do With It?

February 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Speaker: Karen L. Baker, Entertainer, Educator, Author, Coach
What’s Love Got to Do With It? It’s 2021! Mazel tov, we have lived through 2020! Regarding work and livelihood: Some of us lost our jobs. Some of us made considered changes in our lives. Many of us are working from home, if we work at all. All of us spent more time isolated than we’re used to. A few of us may feel that this must the end. Yet numbers of us are discovering, this may be a new beginning. And if you are one of these, you may be wondering, “Where do I start?”

As the world and institutions are reorganizing, we suggest you start with love. LOVE?? As Tina Turner sang, “What’s love got to do with it?” Love is typically paired with hobbies and passions and how you pass your free time. Yet, as changes in the working world unfold, an uncommon match has been struck between love and work, love and productivity and love and earning a living. By designing and executing projects that express your love in the world, you can earn a fine living, do good and do well. Like Albert Einstein said, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. If you know it’s high time for imagination and creative thinking as regards your career, the career of your recent college grad and earning a living in general, join us on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7pm.

Our speaker, Karen L. Baker, entertainer, feminine leadership expert and co-author of 23 Innovations in Selling, has been earning a living by living her dream for 25 years. Hundreds of her clients have moved from working for a living to playing for a living, creating projects, businesses and income streams that match who they are in their hearts. It’s a new way of creating for a new day in the history of work. Photo by Sirrah Lore.
