On May 4 at 8 PM,  The Israeli American Council (IAC) is having a short ceremony at City Hall with Ms. Alison Alter – Mayor Pro-Tem, to celebrate Israel’s 74th Independence Day. This is the first time that the City of Austin is going to light up their building and the Long Center with blue and white lights to recognize the occasion. Shalom Austin CEO Rabbi Daniel A. Septimus will be speaking along with other lay leaders from the community.
