SUMMARY:Parent Connections
DESCRIPTION:Sometimes you just want to talk to other parents and caregivers who “get it.” Parent Connections is a group for those raising\, and for those who have already raised\, children with disabilities and/or neurodivergent conditions. This is a social space to share your experiences\, favorite resources\, conversation – and to just enjoy being around other adults who have some understanding of your unique parenting path. \nChildren are welcome\, and will be supervised & entertained on the far side of the room by Shalom Austin staff so you can check out – without losing your ability to check in. \nPlease feel free to bring your lunch! \nLocation will be provided upon registration.  \nTime: 12:15 – 1:30  \nMeets the first and third Fridays monthly \n
