DESCRIPTION:As women we know that we are gifted with a high emotional intelligence. We feel things deeply and bring “heart” to all that we do. Judaism is a religion filled with emotion that can be found in Torah\, Jewish ritual\, liturgy and of course life cycle events. Our feelings attach personal meaning and elevate our experiences. \nJoin us as a community of Jewish women as we “feel all the feels”. Come to one or all the sessions as we study the Jewish texts\, insights and practice behind the emotions of fear\, regret\, sadness and love. No prior Jewish knowledge required. All you need is a willingness to meet other Jewish women and to share your thoughts\, questions and life lessons. \nNovember 18\, 2024: Fear\nWhat makes us afraid? What does it mean to be “God fearing”? How can we support each other through heightened times of feeling afraid of being Jewish? What prayers can we say when we face fear?
