The Early Childhood Program is officially open and enrolling for fall! From six weeks old to Pre-K, we have a spot for your child(ren). The goal of ECP is to develop competent, happy, curious children. Teachers do this each day by offering a variety of activities to stimulate children physically, intellectually and emotionally. We provide a wonderful environment where children learn and grow safely. Activities are both structured and spontaneous. The school provides opportunities that encourage the development of children’s self-esteem and self-control with the use of positive guidance, an appreciation of cultural diversity, and respect for each child’s individuality. The ECP also introduces the children and their families to Jewish holidays and customs and fosters a developmentally appropriate understanding of Jewish culture in the context of a multicultural society.

Due to COVID-19, we have implemented new safety standards based on recommendations and guidelines from the CDC, Texas Health and Human Services, American Camp Association, Association of Camp Nurses and public health officials to keep children and staff safe. You can read about our Drop-Off Protocols here.

Safety Protocols at this time:

  • The safety and health of our students, families and staff is our highest priority!
  • The Fall school year begins on Monday, August 24.
  • There will be a registered nurse assistant on staff every day who will oversee health screenings of children and staff.
  • We will conduct health screenings at drop off and at various transition times each day for staff and children.
  • Our staff have participated in extensive training about safety protocols and how to incorporate them into the classroom.
  • Our teachers will be required to wear masks in the classroom. We have already been practicing how to explain this to children so they feel comfortable.
  • There will be set staggered drop-off and pick up times to minimize the number of people gathered at any one time.
  • Parents will say goodbye to their child(ren) at health screenings and the children will then be escorted to their classroom by staff.
  • There will be a staffing and activity schedule in place that will keep each class as self-contained as possible.
  • Our classrooms have been deeply cleaned and sanitized and this will be repeated throughout the day.
  • The Generations Project ECP Refresh is well underway.  8 classrooms have already been completed where camp is taking place and all classrooms, hallways and the lobby will be complete by the start of the school year.  Stay tuned for more information on this exciting development.
  • Classrooms will only contain objects/toys in them that can be easily cleaned and disinfected.
