Shabbat N'Play Ages 0-3 Yrs
Drop-in playtime at the JCC offers the opportunity for new parents and parents new to Austin to connect with others, and learn about the Jewish parenting community while their children learn, play and make new friends. Join us for demo classes, holiday crafts, PJ Library story times, and parent talks, as well as a weekly Tot Shabbat with blessings and songs led by local clergy and song leaders. Toys and equipment suitable for newborns and toddlers are provided. Free and open to the community. Interfaith families are welcome. Meets at the JCC in Room 150C.

Shalom Baby helps Austin families (affiliated, nonaffiliated, and interfaith) celebrate their newbornor newly adopted baby and welcome them to theAustin Jewish Community through family and community networking, resource sharing, social events, play groups and holiday celebrations. Thisoutreach program also offers monthly discussion forums led by parents and expertsin the community to create a safe, comforting and educational environment to answerany questions expectant parents may have. It’s a wonderful way to meet otherJewish families, make friends, and find support during this special time. Meeting locations vary.

Shalom Baby Lounge: Brain Dance for Babies and Caregivers
This free class is designed for babies, who are 2 months to pre-crawling, and their caregivers. Move with your baby to an assortment of music as you learn how dance increases baby’s neurological, emotional, and physical development. BrainDance is comprised of eight developmental movement patterns that healthy human beings naturally move through in the first year of life. Each class investigates dance fundamentals and ideas through multi-sensory experiences and tummy time, and promotes physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.

Wee Celebrate the Seasons! Ages 0-2 and their Caregivers
Part lullaby, part puppet show, part immersive adventure! The Austin Jewish Repertory Theater partners with Theatre En Bloc, JCC Austin Parenting Programs, JAAM Fest, and PJ Library to create a nurturing experience inspired by Jewish values that stimulates the senses and promotes development from birth through age 2. Join us as we pilot this unique experience for babies and their caregivers -- come celebrate the seasons with your little one! The performance is 15-20 minutes, play time and staff interaction for another 15-20 minutes. Meets at the JCC Community Hall Stage.
