Session E | Week 1 (August 3 – 7)
Members: $400 | Non-Members: $450

Campers learn to design and build their own motorized battle cars, amazing machines, and robots. Using principles of simple and complex machines, gearing, and mechanical advantage, students will try to flip, push, or smash their opponent's battle vehicles. Students engineer mechanical lifts, drills, ramps, and more to disable or overcome other bots and use coding to add sensors to give them a competitive advantage!

Battle Bots Junior (K & 1st)

Session E | Week 2 (August 10 – 14)

Budding engineers’ entering grades K & 1st are given age-appropriate LEGO® lessons and games, and LEGO® sets with plenty of instructors to help with building. We focus on creating a fun, friendly and caring environment for our youngest LEGO® builders! They will be challenged with the LEGO® WeDo robotics program where they will build & program their own robotic creations and learn about coding, engineering, gears, pulleys, levers and more!

Mad Science: Rockin' Rockets (1st - 5th)

Session E | Week 2 (August 10 – 14)
Members: $400 | Non-Members: $450

Mad Science invites you to launch your knowledge of flight as you build your very own rockets. Experiment with different kinds of propulsion systems as you use your new knowledge to blast off, track and recover different kinds of rockets. Treat your stomach to some rocket snacks. Have a “Rockin” good time at this rocket camp!

Mad Science: Spy Academy (1st - 5th)

Session E | Week 1 (August 3 – 7)
Members: $400 | Non-Members: $450

Become a Mad Science secret spy and take a fascinating journey into the world of detection, forensics and classified information. Learn code language to send secret messages as part of your mission. Go undercover and decode messages from other agents using your top-secret clearance. Investigate a pretend crime scene and sift through clues to crack the case. Join the Mad Science Bureau of Investigation and sniff out forgeries and counterfeits. Take-home projects include a detective kit, spy glasses and more! Ages 6-12!

My Coding Place: Game Development (2nd - 6th)

Session D | Week 1 Only (July 20 – 24)
Members: $475 | Non-Members: $525

Join us during a 5-day camp as we build fun games in Scratch, a language and platform developed at MIT. Kids will learn to use conditionals, loops, variables, and other coding constructs. No experience necessary. Learn to use loops, counters, conditionals, and other basic coding constructs through building fun games in Scratch, a block programming language developed at MIT. Games can include mazes, platformer games, math puzzles, classic arcade games, and more!

Neuron Garage™ (K - 6th)

Session E | Week 1 Only (August 3 – 7)
Session E | Week 2 Only (August 10 – 14)
Members: $400 | Non-Members: $450

Neuron Garage is a project-based program that aims to promote a growth mindset through hands-on exploration, authentic collaboration, and meaningful discussion. We value curiosity and embrace failure as part of the creative process. We use primarily recycled materials -- campers bring their recycling bins with them and we sort it all at the beginning of each week -- to solve weekly engineering challenges such as building a roller-coaster for a marble or fortifying cardboard castles against invasion.
