Thanks to your generous donations to the Shalom Austin Annual Campaign, volunteers and staff team, Jewish Family Service (JFS) is providing support to those in need.

Telehealth Counseling
Shalom Austin JFS now offers our confidential and compassionate mental health services through telehealth platforms. Our highly skilled therapists offer video therapy and counseling, either on a sliding fee scale or through eligible insurance. For more information, email jfs@shalomaustin.org or call 512-250-1043.

Food Pantry
JFS is able to deliver critical food items from a fully-stocked donated food pantry to those in need, older adults unable to leave their home, those who are isolated or vulnerable. For more information, email jfs@shalomaustin.org or call (512) 250-1043.

Volunteer Coordination
JFS is coordinating volunteer outreach to assess the needs of older adults and the vulnerable. Volunteer opportunities include making phone call check-ins and delivering food and supplies to those at risk and isolated. To learn more or volunteer, fill out this form.

Emergency Financial Assistance

Shalom Austin Jewish Family Service (JFS) and Hebrew Free Loan of Austin (HFLA) offer assistance year-round, as well as having special funds set aside for the current emergency.
