As we navigate these difficult times of the COVID-19 health crisis, we are listening to the needs of the community and transforming the services we offer. Thanks to your generous donations to the Shalom Austin Annual Campaign, volunteers and staff team, Jewish Family Service (JFS) is providing support to those in need.

Telehealth Sessions

JFS will begin to offer one-time, brief 30-minute telehealth counseling sessions at no cost. If you are an adult located in the Greater Austin area and you're interested in a session, please fill out this form to request a session and a therapist will contact you. We will offer these sessions Monday-Friday with flexible availability.

Food Pantry

JFS is able to deliver critical food items from a fully-stocked donated food pantry to those in need, older adults unable to leave their home, those who are isolated or vulnerable. For more information, email or call (512) 250-1043.

Volunteer Coordination

JFS is coordinating volunteer outreach to assess the needs of older adults and the vulnerable. Volunteer opportunities include making phone call check-ins and delivering food and supplies to those at risk and isolated. To learn more or volunteer, email
