Sheri Soltes (raised in the Jewish community in Houston), Founder/CEO, started SDI (Service Dogs Inc. www.servicedogs.org) decades ago and works to turn “strays into stars”… 100% of proceeds benefit Service Dogs, Inc., transforming shelter dogs into Service Dogs for wounded veterans and other disabled Texans, free of charge.

This year, I am blessed to Bless the Dogs for the fourth year in a row. Over 2000 people and almost as many dogs attend at Camp Mabry and SDI has some very impressive Sponsors! Music! Vendors! Photo ops! Sniffari! Mini agility course! World’s Largest Pajama Party! The Mighty Texas Dog Walk & Expo is a 25 year staple of Austin’s nationally recognized dog loving culture, fetching 12 World Records including “Most Dogs Walked”, “Largest Fur Ball,” and “Largest Cake for Dogs”!
