EDM, R&B and Hip-Hop, Pop, Country… many genres and artists use beat programming software to produce music. This software is a new musical instrument whose musicians must be able to manipulate the program, have a solid understanding of music theory, math skills, and have opportunities to practice and create. Explore recording techniques through Ableton software, learn basic music production and songwriting techniques, learn collaboration while working towards an end goal, and apply music theory and basic instrumentation to technical skills.
