Zeifman Family Early Childhood Program

November 2022

As we celebrate more than 50 years of quality and passionate care for young children, ECP is proud to announce that the school’s name is changing to Zeifman Family Early Childhood Program.

We are grateful for the contributions of Clifford Zeifman, whose children attended our school over the last 20 years. While Clifford is no longer an ECP parent, he is a lifelong supporter of the Jewish community and Jewish education. Through Clifford’s gift, we made much-needed upgrades to our classrooms and facilities and can provide even more experiences to you and your family.

ECP remains committed to providing excellence in early childhood education in a warm, nurturing and safe environment – for many more years to come.

I decided to make a major donation to ECP around when my youngest child was graduating from there. Even though I knew I would no longer have children at ECP, I believe in lifelong engagement with the community. I want to see all families have access to a safe place where they can send their children to learn Jewish values such as tzedakah. Clifford Zeifman

What You Need to Know

The ECP preschool in Austin, in keeping with the laws of Kashrut (Jewish Dietary Laws) is a strictly dairy/pareve only facility, so what do kids eat for lunch? Get some ideas, plus lots of other helpful info including: our schedule, COVID-19 policies, the parent handbook, what to bring, Tot Shabbat and holiday information, and our inclement weather policies.

In addition to the ECP preschool, Shalom Austin offers a variety of other programs for young children and their parents.
