Have you wanted to try acting but feel anxious about memorizing a script, or want to be educated and involved in producing live theater? Then Simcha Readers’ Theater is the place for you! Many actors in our group are seasoned performers, but some are not. We welcome you to put on the mask of comedy and tragedy with this non-memorizing, low pressure and nurturing group of thespians. Rehearse weekly and perform gratis readers’ theater for children and adults in the community. Add a little drama to your life!

The Dell’s Angels Choir is an adult vocal performance opportunity. Rehearsals are weekly and performances occur approximately once a month at various locations such as retirement communities, hospitals, nursing homes and community events. Participation in the Choir is open to all singers with a basic understanding of reading music. Dell’s Angels Chamber Singers, a subgroup of the choir, have additional rehearsals and performance opportunities. Participation in this group requires an audition and the ability to read music well, and to commit to additional rehearsal time. Chamber Singers attend the full Choir rehearsals and stay for an additional hour of practice weekly.

Young kids in costumes on stage for a theater performance

Our youth theatre program, for children ages 5-12, builds confidence, inspires creativity, and helps bring out the performer in children. Each semester, children in the program rehearse and put on a musical performance for the community.

Charley Maplewood has never been one for parties - that would require friends, which he doesn't have. Well, unless you count his monster friends, but they're only imaginary. But now that he's turning ten - the big one-oh - he decides to throw a birthday party for himself, complete with a "House of Horrors" theme. Of course, things don't work out as he plans. Will Charley be able to pull it together before the big one-oh . . . becomes the big OH-NO!?
