WHY WE LIKE THIS FILM: Recently nominated for an incredible eight Cesars (France’s Academy Awards), including Best Picture of the Year, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Original Screenplay, Best Editing. This powerful courtroom drama based on actual events was the Opening Night Film of the Directors’ Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival, where it was unanimously hailed by critics as one of the “must-see” films of the festival.
