Trauma Informed Yoga Event

Trauma Informed Yoga works to restore the mind-body balance when we find ourselves stuck in our automatic survival response of fight, flight, or freeze. This 90-minute class will consist of 60 minutes of yoga followed by an opportunity to build connection and community in a safe and supportive environment. It will provide the tools and space to help bring you out of survival mode so you can work to process, heal, and live in a more regulated state. Yoga will be practiced at a slow pace and will be accompanied by chanting, breathing and soothing mindfulness exercises. No experience necessary, you are encouraged to practice at your own level of comfort.
