Join our Pride month scholar in residence, Rabbi Steven Greenberg, for a Shabbat afternoon text study on Saturday, June 28 at 3 PM. Rabbi Greenberg joins us from Eshel, the organization fighting for full inclusion of LGBT Jews in the Orthodox community.
In honor of the anniversary of the Obergefell decision making same-sex civil marriage legal, we will explore a handful of raucous Talmudic love stories and weddings to help us shape a parallel mythic foundation for queer love and commitment.
Registration is required. This event will be fully in line with shomer Shabbat observance.
