Shalom Austin missions and travel experiences are unlike any other catering to all interests for those 21+. Join us as we explore the past, present and future of the Jewish people in locations as diverse as Israel, Poland, Morocco, Mexico and Russia.

What makes each Global Experience truly unique? 

Its sense of purpose, guaranteeing our travelers a heightened appreciation and connection to their Jewish identity and to each other. 

Our missions aren’t passive experiences. They’re active adventures, engaging the mind, heart, soul, and body. We’ll explore local communities and their histories while traveling by jeep, bike, boat, plane, and foot to make up close and personal contact with the many marvels of Jewish existence. In many locations, you’ll witness firsthand the extraordinary efforts of our overseas partners, Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency for Israel, while discovering and responding to the successes and challenges facing Jewish communities today.

What happens on a mission with Shalom Austin’s Israel & Global Experiences?

Nearly anything can happen on a mission: dancing with Ethiopian Israelis in Rishon LeZion or helping to paint a classroom in a Jewish school in Cherkassy. Your itinerary will include a wide range of activities and attractions designed to immerse you in the Jewish community and getting to know the locals — from religious landmarks to archeological digs to cultural must-sees. We are just getting started on these exciting offerings and the possibilities are endless.
