IAC National Summit 2023 to Take Place in Austin
The Israeli-American Council (IAC) National Summit 2023 will take place in Austin, Texas, for the first time, next January, launching Israel’s 75th Independence Celebrations. In a city known for its creative culture, the summit will feature a first-ever “Israel Innovation Playground,” fostering collaboration between Israeli and American leading-edge businesses and tech firms.
More than 3,000 Israeli-Americans, American Jews, Israelis and other Israel lovers are expected to convene for the IAC National Summit 2023, which will be held from January 19-21 at the Fairmont Austin.
One of the highest-profile and most impactful events in the Jewish world, the annual summit bridges the US and Israel through a shared experience of the Israeli spirit and brings multiple generations of families together. The summit, whose theme is “Israel, Together,” will include leaders and decision-makers from the worlds of business, culture, education, philanthropy, politics and technology.
“We are excited to innovate and create a whole new experience for our eighth annual summit, serving our continuous effort to build a united and proactive nationwide community with Israel at its heart, empowered to face the challenges and capture the many opportunities together,” said IAC Co-Founder and CEO Shoham Nicolet. “This year is especially exciting as we launch celebrations of Israel’s 75th Independence.”
The 2023 summit program will focus on connecting the young generation to Israel, strengthening the bond between the people of Israel and the US, the connection between the Jewish-American community and Israel, and Israeli-American business relations and innovation. Core communities will participate in their own mini-summits as well, including the Eitanim Teen Experience; the Mishelanu Annual Student Summit; and the EDGE Young Professionals Annual Summit.
The “innovation playground” will also connect Israeli firms with the U.S. market and funders at a time when Austin is surging as one of the top U.S. tech hubs and is famous for its cutting-edge culture, with major gatherings such as SXSW.
