This summer’s JCC Maccabi Games in Houston, TX, brought together 1,500 Jewish teens from across the globe for a week-long Olympic style teen sports competition. Team Austin was proud to be represented by 44 dedicated athletes. The event showcases Jewish pride, athletic competition, and sportsmanship, on a grand stage.

Throughout the week, athletes competed in a variety of sports, from basketball and soccer to swimming, tennis and dance. Beyond the competition, the JCC Maccabi Games provided an invaluable opportunity for teens to forge lasting friendships, deepen their Jewish identity, and connect with their peers from diverse communities. The vibrant energy of the event, coupled with the shared values and traditions, created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
