Shalom Austin Women’s Philanthropy hosted another fantastic Wine Down with more than 150 women in attendance at the Dell JCC, indoors this year! This annual gathering serves as the kickoff to the Women’s Philanthropy programming year, fostering connections and highlighting philanthropic opportunities within the community.
Women’s Philanthropy Co-Chairs, Frances Meltzer and Kim Schocket, gave a warm welcome to the audience and promoted upcoming events like Taste of Women’s Philanthropy, L’dor V’dor Ladies and Book Lovers Breakfast. Amy Antonacci and Jessica Epstein, members of the Social Programming Committee, shared the importance of coming together as one community. Epstein remarked, “This community is the most welcoming, accepting, encouraging group of women.”
The evening was filled with laughter and meaningful conversations. As guests enjoyed an evening of networking and camaraderie, the event showcased the strength and unity of women in the Austin Jewish community.
