BBYO

CONNECTING JEWISH TEENS

BBYO is the leading pluralistic teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences.

Who are we?

BBYO is the leading pluralistic teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. Lonestar Region is one of forty regions across the United States. Lonestar has nearly 1,000 members in 14 chapters across Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and College Station.

What do we do?

BBYO is a teen led movement! Each week our members participate in programs that range from service projects, Jewish education, and social events. BBYO provides identity enrichment and leadership development experiences for all its participants.

Why get involved?

For nearly a century, parents have trusted BBYO to create safe and nurturing environments in which their teens can grow, play, learn, and lead. Now more than ever, our programs are constantly evolving, shaped by and for our teens to provide them with the tools to build confidence, skills, and friendships that will last them a lifetime. Parents put their faith in us, and we make it our mission to always uphold it.

I love BBYO because it creates future Jewish leaders. BBYO empowers teens to discover their Jewish identities and find their place in their local Jewish community. It has not only taught me leadership skills and helped rediscover my Jewish identity, but it has also given me my best friends for life.
