In May, Shalom Austin Women’s Philanthropy installed its 2025–2026 committee. This dynamic group of female leaders is gearing up for a year filled with meaningful engagement, philanthropic impact, and Jewish connection. With fresh ideas and renewed commitment, the WP committee is already hard at work shaping the upcoming program year.

The summer season kicked off with Ladies Night Out, bringing together more than 75 women for an evening of socializing with longtime friends and meeting newcomers.

Wine Down on August 24 marks the official start of the WP program year—an annual tradition where women gather as a community. Whether someone is a longtime supporter or brand new to the community, Wine Down is the perfect opportunity to experience what Women’s Philanthropy is all about.

Throughout the year, Shalom Austin Women’s Philanthropy offers a rich calendar of volunteer opportunities, social gatherings, and educational programs, all designed to inspire and connect women from every background. No matter age, stage of life, or financial contribution, every woman in Austin is welcome and encouraged to join the WP Community.

For those looking to deepen their impact, Women’s Philanthropy proudly celebrates the generosity of its members through giving societies like the Pomegranate Society and the Lions of Judah, with more than 215 Pomegranates and 225 Lions currently leading the way. These women exemplify the spirit of philanthropy—not only through financial support but through their time, talents, and hearts.

At its core, Women’s Philanthropy is about more than philanthropy – it is about creating a space where women uplift one another and build a stronger Jewish community together. With a full calendar of events ahead, the 2025–2026 year promises connection, purpose, and the power of women united in action.
