BubbieCare is a partner of Shalom Austin.
BubbieCare, a company founded in Austin, Texas dedicated to helping families find and hire qualified caregivers for seniors or those needing assistance with daily tasks in their homes, has once again gifted Shalom Austin Jewish Family Service, $30,000 to expand and strengthen JFS’ services. The connection between BubbieCare and JFS began over 20 years ago, as BubbieCare’s founder Lawrence Maze chaired the JFS committee and served for many years as an inspiring leader and supporter of JFS.
JFS provides a wide array of mental health and support services to the Jewish community and to the wider Austin community including counseling and psychotherapy, support groups, case management, emergency financial assistance, and community consultation and education programs. JFS also provides consultation related to the inclusion of people with disabilities in services and programs in the Austin Jewish community.
JFS is able to broaden its services to the community thanks to the partnership with and contributions from BubbieCare. Not only does BubbieCare provide much needed assistance to the elder community and their families in Austin, but they also donate 18% of their net profits to JFS each year. This collaboration has allowed JFS to strengthen its services for older adults and their families, as well as build partnerships with multiple organizations in Austin to increase the resources offered to clients. JFS is grateful to BubbieCare for all of their continued support.
