The Fall 2024 semester started out strong at The Hillel at Texas A&M. Here’s a look at all they have participated in and accomplished so far.

They have had so many students attend Shabbat. Neil Lazarus, a renowned speaker talked about the current issues in Israel, and they hosted a Community in Unity Shabbat where the local faculty, staff and community members came together to celebrate Shabbat. Their Sababa Baking Squad made yummy babka and honey cakes. They raised money to help stock the food pantry in All Faith’s Chapel on campus and offered massages to stressed students. Their more than 21 students enjoyed a night out at Jews-N-Brews. The freshmen class event took them to Aggieland Safari. Rabbi Siger began teaching a Life’s Big Questions Class with a Jewish Lens to a full class of students.  This was all in the first six weeks of classes.  Texas A&M has a small but growing Jewish student body.
