Congregation Beth El is thrilled to welcome Cantor Daniel Cuper to the Congregation Beth El family! With a voice that uplifts and a spirit that inspires, Cantor Cuper, joins Beth El from Santiago, Chile, and brings warmth and a passion for Judaism. Whether leading the congregation in prayer or joining us in celebration, his presence will enrich their spiritual life in meaningful and joyful ways.

Congregation Beth El is also excited to announce that Lorin Mor, who has been a dedicated teacher in their community for the past six years, has stepped into the role of religious school director. With her creative energy and love for teaching, Mor brings fresh ideas and a nurturing approach to Jewish education. They can’t wait to see how her leadership will spark curiosity, connection, and pride in their youngest learners.

Originally from Ramat Gan, Israel, Mor moved to Austin 10 years ago with a deep love for Jewish tradition and community. A proud parent of three children who all grew up in Beth El, she brings both personal and professional passion to this role.

Mor has an extensive resume. In addition to teaching at Beth El, she has also taught at CBI and AJA and has practiced law in Israel since 2006. She also advocates for Holocaust survivors through a non-profit organization. Her combined experience in education, leadership, and law gives her a unique perspective and a strong foundation to guide Congregation Beth El’s school forward.

Mor shares, “I’m honored and excited to begin this new chapter as School Director. I look forward to building on what we’ve accomplished so far and to nurturing the next generation with joy, knowledge, and strong Jewish values.”
