This year at SXSW, The Jewish Outlook editorial team attended various sessions featuring Jewish professionals and creators. Together with some Shalom Austin staff, they “unofficially” kicked off the week-long conference and festival at Tech Tribe’s Open Shabbat, in partnership with Chabad Young Jewish Professionals of Austin, where everyone is welcome to come enjoy kosher food, song and plenty of l’chaim!
While the festival layout and session locations were different this year due to the Austin Convention Center’s closure, the plethora of varied events showed no indication of disruptions. The Jewish Outlook team was there to cover some of the sessions and events, including those featuring Jamie Lee Curtis, Larry David, Nir Eyal, Noah Kahan, Aza Raskin, Paul Rudd, Adam Pally, Josh Scherer, and many more!
