Last year, Shalom Austin Jewish Foundation welcomed more than 70 guests to a Professional Advisors Breakfast Seminar, co-hosted with Austin Community Foundation. This annual event for financial, tax, and estate professionals addresses why charitable giving isn’t just a “nice-to-have” conversation with clients—it’s a powerful planning tool. When advisors engage clients in thoughtful discussions about philanthropy, they do more than address tax efficiency. They strengthen relationships and develop more holistic financial plans that align with clients’ passions.

“We know that smart and strategic philanthropy includes trusted advisors at the table, and we were pleased to see so many professionals from estate, financial, and tax planning fields on campus to learn about new strategies to help clients create more fulfilling giving plans,” Shalom Austin Jewish Foundation Director & Philanthropic Advisor Jennifer Kohn Koppel said.

The next Professional Advisors Breakfast Seminar will be November 6, 2026, and continuing education credits will be available. Learn more by joining the network at shalomaustin.org/advisors.
