Since its relaunch in April 2024, I’ve had the privilege of leading and witnessing the rise of a powerful grassroots movement: “Asukot,” a vibrant and growing community of Israeli American women entrepreneurs, making their mark across Austin. What began as a small initiative has now evolved into a network of nearly 80 women, each bringing her own talent, vision, and determination.

Asukot has quickly become a home for women seeking not only business growth but also meaningful relationships, referrals, and collaboration. It is a space where women are seen, supported, and celebrated.

The diversity within this community is one of its greatest strengths. From handmade jewelry designers and interior stylists to parent coaches, wellness experts, photographers, and content creators, Asukot reflects the incredible range of talent found among Israeli American women in Austin. Beyond the individual success stories, what truly stands out is the spirit of generosity: members openly share resources, offer recommendations, uplift one another’s ventures, and create new opportunities together.

Asukot hosts gatherings, share-outs, collaborative projects, and enrichment sessions that nurture both personal and professional growth. Many women have found new clients, formed partnerships, and gained the confidence to take bold next steps in their businesses—all because they felt supported within this community.

Looking ahead, Asukot’s vision for the next year is to expand their circle by connecting with more Jewish women–owned businesses, creating a broader and more diverse ecosystem of support. At the same time, they aim to continue empowering one another through their signature event, “Asuka on the Stage,” a powerful platform where members share their business journeys, challenges, takeaways, and wins. By giving women, the space to be seen and heard, they strengthen confidence, spark collaboration, and inspire new opportunities. Together, they’re building a community where every woman’s voice, talent, and story have a meaningful place.

But Asukot is more than a business network. It is a space of empowerment, belonging, and collective momentum. Together, they are strengthening the local Israeli American ecosystem while contributing to a more connected and resilient Austin.
