Nominations for the Joseph Krassner Campaign Leadership Award and the Hymie & Louise Samuelson Leadership Award must be submitted September 19, 2025 to be considered.

Award recipients will be recognized at IGNITE! on Sunday, March 1, 2026.

The Joseph Krassner Campaign Leadership Award recognizes a male community leader, whose efforts and accomplishments have had a long-lasting impact on community-building, leadership development, and philanthropy. The award is named in honor of Joe Krassner, who cared deeply about the growing Jewish community in Austin.

The Hymie and Louise Samuelson Leadership Award recognizes those in the prime of their leadership journey, whose efforts and achievements have already made them an inspiring example to others. Through their ongoing commitment and care for the Jewish community, these are individuals whose contributions to Shalom Austin have already had significant impact. This award honors leaders up to their mid-50s.
