Facilitating and supporting social events for parents in Austin.
Connecting Parents in the Greater Austin Area
Shalom Families is a full-community program that facilitates and supports social events for parents in Austin and the surrounding areas. Every month, we organize events online, at the JCC and in neighborhoods throughout Greater Austin. This is a great way to meet other local Jewish families.
Connect with Jewish customs and culture while connecting with other families.
Free Books for Jewish Families
We don’t need to tell you that reading to your children is important. But finding the right books and making the time to read as a family can be hard. PJ Library makes it a little easier by sending free Jewish children’s books to families every month.
Families with kids ages 0 through 12 years old with Judaism as part of their lives, are welcome to sign up.
Early Childhood Program
From six weeks old to pre-k, the Shalom Austin JCC Early Childhood Program (ECP) has a spot for your child(ren). The goal of ECP is to develop competent, happy, curious children.
