Why Jewish Overnight Camp?
Shalom Austin is a proud supporter of Jewish overnight camp. We are committed to the holistic development of the younger generation and the significance of nurturing their personal and spiritual growth in Judaism. These camps provide meaningful experiences in a unique environment where children gain independence, develop life skills, and build stronger Jewish identity.
Attending Jewish overnight camp offers children the opportunity to forge lasting connections, create a sense of belonging and camaraderie, and encourages self-discovery – all in a Jewish setting! While campers sing songs, play sports, hike and more, they will explore what Judaism means to them.
Shalom Austin recognizes sending your child to overnight camp is a big financial commitment. Below are resources to provide you with assistance!
