DEEP END FITNESS ATX

Promoting a Positive Shift in Mental and Physical Health

Deep End Fitness training is Aquatic fitness and breath work specifically designed to be accessible regardless of your current water abilities and confidence levels. The training utilizes the F.R.E.E – Focus, Relaxation, Economy of Motion, and Efficient Breathing operating system in conjunction with aquatic training to utilize the water as a catalyst for growth.

Focus of the JCC Deep End Fitness program:

  • Fitness and Breathwork to enhance resilience in all areas of life.
  • Water confidence, swimming skills, meditation and play
  • A community built by shared growth in and out of the water.

What to expect:

  • Comprehensive Warmup that introduces you to the B.S.A.F.E. and F.R.E.E. principles that Deep End Fitness embodies.
  • Challenging yet accessible workout involving water and land based movements including:
    • formal stroke instruction
    • mindful movement at all depths
    • breath regulation and CO2 tolerance building
    • calisthenics
  • Cool down including specific breathwork and nervous system regulation

HIGH-PERFORMANCE DEEP END FITNESS ATX

Designed for Military Prep, First Responders, and Hybrid Athletes

James and Dylan are teaming up to take their respective backgrounds in “Hybrid” athletic performance, and military Special Warfare course preparation to prepare a small group of people who are looking to improve their water confidence.

We will gather feedback from all participants before the program starts, and learn about your fitness goals. We will then prepare a program that engages elements from all courses/pipelines (H2O Games, RTAP, BUD/s, Dive School, Swift Water Rescue, etc.) and the group will proceed through the program together. People who are interested in passing a physical readiness course in the Fire Department, Police Academy, any branch of the military, or prepping for the H2O Games should strongly consider this 8-week course.
