THE JEWISH OUTLOOK IS NOW A MAGAZINE!

What started as a community newsletter over 40 years ago, The Jewish Outlook has become a trusted source of local news, connection and storytelling as a newspaper and online publication. Now, we’re turning the page to an exciting new chapterStarting in September 2025, we’re proud to introduce The Jewish Outlook in a new, glossy magazine format!

The new Jewish Outlook magazine will include all the stories you know and love, with a new look! This change reflects our commitment to telling the same great stories – with even more depth, beauty and staying power.

  • Rich storytelling and lifestyle content 
  • A fresh design that’s modern and meant to last

While our annual Jewish Austin newcomer’s guide will be discontinued, The Jewish Outlook publications will continue to be published four times per year in the spring, summer, fall and winter, and available online. The Jewish Outlook magazine will include local Jewish community stories, national and international news of interest, guides for newcomers, special sections, listings of local Jewish community organizations, relevant advertisements and other helpful information for the community. 

In between issues, you can enjoy The Jewish Outlook content on our Jewish Community Blog. and social media (Facebook and Instagram)!

The new magazine will continue to be mailed to subscribers, and available at the Dell JCC and locations around Greater Austin (listed below).
