This safe, positive, and motivational adventure is designed to help your child increase physical, moral, and mental fitness, all while making new friends and having a great time! This class will cover all of the basic martial arts techniques as well as the basic life skills of respect, discipline, perseverance, and self-control.

TAP INTO THE ULTIMATE KID’S SELF DEFENSE TRAINING

(Ages 6-15)

Empower your kids by having them train in the most effective self-defense system in the world. Are you looking for a fitness activity for your child that can also help them defend themselves? Krav Maga is not a traditional martial art. No katas. No rituals. Based on simple principles and instinctive movements, this reality-based system is designed to teach real self-defense in the shortest possible time. Krav Maga combines techniques from boxing, savate, Muay Thai, Wing Chun, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and grappling. The primary goal of Krav Maga is to neutralize the threat as quickly and efficiently as possible. There is very little fighting etiquette to learn and an emphasis is placed on being able to react out of instinct with proper self-defense & attack moves during any physical confrontation. We do all this while building confidence, developing life skills, and most importantly having FUN!

Looking to improve the foundation of your martial arts practice? The Martial Arts Basics class is designed for those new to taekwondo and experienced students who want to refine their skills. The class will focus on fundamentals and the application of proper technique.

Teens & Adults Black Belts

(Ages 12+)
Whether your well into your martial arts journey or just starting out, this class is faster paced and more detail-focused to teach the concepts required for teens, adults, and black belts to excel in taekwondo. Techniques taught in class may be more advanced than what is offered in MAK/All Rank classes.

KRAV MAGA

Kims Gym Waddlers

Originally developed by the Israeli military, Krav Maga combines traditional martial arts combat strategies and self-defense techniques, applying them to real-world situations. Rather than learning fighting etiquette, an emphasis is placed on being able to react out of instinct with proper self-defense and attack moves during any physical confrontation, teaching you how to avoid situations that might put you in harm’s way. Adult and teen classes offered (Ages 15+).

Krav Maga is now offered as a Group Exercise Class.
