Community & Commitment

Beyond fitness goals, community allows us to find a sense of belonging. It’s what can support us through some difficult moments — in or out of the gym — help inject a sense of fun in our day, and remind us of something essential: we’re all in this together.

Reservations are required for all of our in-person group fitness classes.

Reservations open on Sundays and Wednesdays at 1:00 PM. 

Sunday at 1 PM – Register for Wednesday to Saturday
Wednesday at 1 PM – Register for Sunday to Tuesday 

Cancellation Policy: Class reservations must be cancelled no later than 7 PM the evening before class.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Aqua Aerobics

A moderate-intensity, low-impact class designed to help meet overall fitness goals including increased strength, mobility, and cardiovascular health, while being gentle on the joints. Aqua Aerobics provides a great workout for all levels and abilities including pre/postnatal, seniors, athletes looking to cross-train and those working to rehab an injury. Please note that appropriate aqua footwear is the only footwear permitted in the pool.

BARRE
Develop long, lean muscles and a stronger core in this true blend of Pilates, yoga, ballet conditioning and traditional strength training. Exercises focus on the muscle shaping principles of isometrics and work your entire body through various ranges of motion.
BARRE METHOD

High-repetition, low-impact, resistance training focused on form and technique to build strength, muscle definition and endurance. This challenging barre workout maximizes muscle burn and minimizes joint impact with small range of motion movements to stay working in the muscle and elevate the heart rate. All levels welcome, barre experience recommended.

Beat Sculpt

Moderate – High Intensity: Get ready for a fusion of challenging, full-body sculpting and endurance pushing cardio with a dance-inspired groove—without all the choreography. Sweat, sculpt, and feel the beat power you through every rep. 

Body Engineering

Flatten your abs, lift your glutes, slim your thighs and carve out your arms with this fun, dynamic full body toning class. Using high repetition, light weights, and long lever movements it is designed to work the body through all ranges of movement creating optimal body alignment and ensuring no particular muscle group is over developed.

Bounce & Burn

This high-intensity, low-impact class utilizes a fitness rebounder to strengthen all major muscle groups, improve cardiovascular health, boost balance and stability, and provide a high caloric burn. Please note that this class requires participants to jump and add exercises and choreography without having the support of a handle on the fitness rebounder. Tennis shoes required. 

Breath & Body Align

Low Intensity: Move through poses and stretches withi coordinated breath work, bringing attention and awareness to what is occurring in the body. This breath-based, mindful movement practice features an emphasis on alignment and conscious embodiment to cultivate a deeper connection between the body and the mind. All levels welcome. 

Cardio Dance
A high-intensity cardio workout to help you develop a strong, powerful core and improve total body balance and coordination, while moving along to a heart pumping playlist of favorite hits. No dance experience needed.
Cardio Strength

Get ready to sweat and feel that full body burn! Build strength and cardiovascular endurance through a combination of sculpting exercises and heart-pumping cardio bursts to challenge your entire body. All levels welcome.

Classical Hatha Yoga
A holistic yoga practice which teaches the fundamentals of yoga, including body postures (asanas), yogic breathing (pranayama), meditation, and the timeless philosophy of yoga. This class will develop strength, flexibility, balance, clarity, and compassion, improving overall sense of well-being.

Forever Fit

Forever Fit: A full body, low impact workout consisting of functional strength training exercises and aerobic movement to maximize fitness benefits including strength, endurance, and mobility. All levels welcome.

Gentle Chair Yoga

Gentle chair yoga is a form of yoga that focuses on gentle stretches, mindful breathing, and relaxation techniques to improve flexibility, strength, and overall well-being. It focuses on seated and standing poses with the assistance of a chair, which provides stability and support. In chair yoga, you may do poses sitting still, twisting, shifting, or standing with the chair for support.

30-HIIT

High Intensity: High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a 30 minute workout based primarily on aerobic exercise. It involves short bursts of intense exercise followed by recovery periods. It is known for improving cardiovascular fitness and burning calories efficiently.  

HIGH FITNESS
Improve overall endurance, stamina, strength, and cardiovascular health with bouts of high-intensity movement and moderate/active recovery to constantly challenge your body in a safe and effective way.
Jewish Meditation

Low Intensity: Meditation and breathwork infused with Jewish wisdom that will inspire your practice. This class is appropriate for people of all faiths and religious backgrounds, as the Jewish themes that will be used to help ground the class are universal themes and will be useful and relevant for all. 
Located in the Zimmerman Family Multi Purpose Room.  

Low Impact Aerobics
A combination of low and moderate intensity aerobic exercises, weight-based resistance training, body-weight exercises, floor work, abs and stretching to improve overall fitness, balance, and coordination.
LOW IMPACT ZUMBA
Low Impact Zumba is a fun low-impact cardio-dance class to Latin, International, and popular music. It will get your heart rate up with no jumping or stress on your joints!

 

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates aims to balance the body, improve mobility, teach controlled fluid movement, and bring focus to the breath and alignment using the whole body in an integrated, rhythmical, dynamic way through precise, intentional movements.

Mind Body Fusion

This fitness class combines elements of Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates. It is designed to improve both physical and mental well-being, with a focus on balance, flexibility, and strength. It is typically set to music and aims to create harmony within the body and mind.

POSTURE & MOBILITY
This class uses various positions, stretches, and techniques to focus on the maintenance of optimal positions and movements in your body as expressed by your brain. Natural mobility is worn away slowly without practice and is a source of inflammation and pain. Whatever your state of wellness is (senior, junior, low functioning, even athletes) posture has something for everyone.
POWER VINYASA

This class links breath to movement to elevate the heart rate through poses that will make you sweat and build strength, focusing on core strength and connection of breath while finding balance and peace in the body. Yoga experience recommended.

Power Yogalates

Power Yogalates strengthens the core muscles including the lower back, abdominals, hips & buttocks.

Qigong
Qigong has three functions: it strengthens the body, calms the mind, and opens the heart. With regular practice, you will experience a renewed sense of joy and purpose, a deeper understanding of life, and more compassion for yourself and others.
RESTORATIVE YOGA

Restorative Yoga is a practice for the nervous system. By supporting the body in its entirety with props and by practicing deliberate stillness we cultivate a quiet space that allows us deep relaxation. This practice decreases anxiety and stress. It promotes relaxation, balanced attention, and the cultivation of mindfulness. All levels welcome.

Rhythmic Spin

High Intensity: Rhythmic cycling is a dynamic and invigorating form of indoor cycling where riders pedal to the beat of high-energy music, creating an immersive and motivating workout experience. This group fitness class combines elements of dance, choreography, and cycling, promoting cardiovascular health and endurance while fostering a sense of community and fun. Weights are occasionally used. 

ROLL & RELEASE

Cherish tender moments with your tender spots at Roll & Release. Use a variety of implements and techniques to address your tissues where they need it.

SCUPLT & BURN

A full body, heart pumping, muscle building workout designed to elevate the heart rate and build strength and endurance. Sculpt & Burn will challenge your muscles and build your endurance and stamina.

Slow Flow

SPINNING ENERGY ZONES
Learn the intensity parameters of each energy zone (endurance, strength, interval, race day, and recovery) and how to use them to help maximize your goals. Heart rate monitors are encouraged to help tailor each class to the level of fitness each student (not a must).
Spin

A high intensity indoor cycling workout that will improve your endurance and cardiovascular system with intervals and sprints.  

Step Aerobics

Full body, high intensity, cardio and conditioning featuring choreographed exercises using an adjustable step platform. Step up, down, over, and around, to heart pumping music to build cardiovascular endurance, strengthen legs and glutes, increase balance and agility, all while burning calories with this fun, fast-paced workout! All levels welcome.

Strength

High Intensity: Cardio intervals, total body strength & flexibility training designed to get you into top physical condition. 

Strength Explosion

A one of a kind, high intensity workout that will catapult you towards your fitness goals with multi movement exercises using medium to light weights to challenge your core, balance, and overall functional strength.

Strength Fusion
A fusion of cardiovascular HIIT training with strength training to burn more fat and sculpt every inch of your body! Prepare to be motivated with spiced up been-there-done-that routines and expect something new each & every class!
Vinyasa Yoga

This class focuses on the connection between breath, postures, and the mind. Vinyasa is often considered a vigorous moving meditation on the mat. All levels welcome.

Warrior Bootcamp
Cardio intervals, total body strength and flexibility training designed to get you into top physical condition.
WERQ
WERQ is a wildly addictive cardio dance workout built on repetitive athletic moves and fresh dance steps. No dance experience needed.  
YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced and meditative form of yoga that focuses on long-held seated and reclined poses to stretch the connective tissue in the body. This practice improves flexibility, circulation, and energy flow while activating pressure points in the body to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Yoga Align
A challenging yoga class with an emphasis on proper alignment, muscular energy and strength development. Every last Friday of the month is a restorative, self-care session to help release pain. Yoga experience required.
Zumba

High Intensity Zumba class that combines rhythms from all over the world to make you burn at least 500 calories per class. No experience necessary!

Zumba Gold

Raise your heartrate, strengthen your muscles and mind, and improve your coordination while enjoying the choreography and music of traditional Zumba, with the option of being seated for extra support. Zumba Gold is perfect for anyone with limited mobility, balance challenges, or simply wanting a workout with the support of chair if / when needed. All levels welcome.

Late Policy

Participants will be able to enter the class within the first 5 minutes of the start time.  After that point, members will no longer
be permitted to enter the studio.
